smoke free WELL - crazy winds, which I understand is a feature here, still ran really well and had a lovely weekend. Flat and fast course - agree that taller and fluorescent signs encouraging runners to enter the start pen from the other end would be good. Actually felt the potential bottle neck at the blue bridge would be far enough into the race to not be a problem if faster runners were able to start nearer the front. Taking the course that way first was good because it meant the field was nicely strung out well before reaching the section where runners were in opposite directions. Friendly marshalls and cadets handing out drinks and lovely medal, t shirt and running shirt. Nice mix of abilities meant some proper quick guys and girls up the front and a friendly atmosphere throughout. Just that starting pen really, otherwise tres bon :)

mk parkrun the start was chaos. it would be very easy to funnel people the right way, this was especially problematic as it was gunned and not chipped so any fast runners who were funnelled in early were stuck at the back and had to battle through congestion

tipsku Well organised race, flat and fast course. If it had not been blowing a gale, I would have gotten closer to my target of 77:xx minutes. I'll take the PB anyway, thank you very much :D and I'll be back next year.
