Lethargic Pancake flat course, around the lake, very PB' able if wind drops. 5th place, Headwind, mile splits 5.24, 5.18, 5.18, 5.32, 5.04. PB by 26secs, felt tired.

MAD Superman A weekend in Germany didnt help but truth was I went out too quick and blow up M4. Went through 2m in around 11:30 and slowed. Wind didn't help but only have myself to blame for not cracking 30. Managed to dig in the last mile thanks to a clubmate who told me there were loads waiting to overtake and managed to summon enough energy to stick with him until the finish. Finished 63rd but not happy Splits: 5:46 5:50 6:11 6:25 6:10 11 pb by 1 second

SPKoF hmm. I used all my anger, disappointment and depression from failing to break 1:25 at hinckley to drive me on tonight. 3 sub 6 miles followed by a 4th into the wind 6:03 left me to play mental games with myself on the last mile.
