Gobi Entered on a whim on Friday having noticed that the weather was ok this weekend. Didn't really do my homework so had no choice but to run with whoever was near the front and not running faster that I wanted to go. Met Rob and Richard Quinnel. Richard had checked the route so my day was set. 3 of us ran together until the last checkpoint when Rich encouraged Rob and I to crack on. We did and the last section was a laugh as we sort of raced and got lost. End result was a win for me but I had to run much slower than I wanted to due to having no idea where to go. Good social but not my thing.
