Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Boab Not a fast course, but feeling fit so looking for a good run. Will be happy to run a steady race without tiring too much as I won't taper and will have run circa 75 miles in the week prior.
*UPDATE: really pleased with run. 14th place. Time includes 2 7 minute miles, and most of the guys in front of me were slower that their best by at least 2 minutes. Wind was a nightmare. I was being blown all over the road and at times I was almost stood still. Couple of tough climbs as well. I'd also ran 80 this week before the race, so I am really pleased with time and race. :)

Dvorak This was my first HM two years ago and will now be my ninth. Would like to go sub-2 on this one. **UPDATE** Bad start: arrived Jedburgh 10:57. Got number, threw up a bit, started 2 mins behind. Hared off. Caught backmarkers around 6 mins. First mile 8:15, carefully planned pacing strategy oot the windae. 25.25 at mile 3, a matter of plugging away until the wheels came off, and hoping there was enough time in the bank. With judicious walk breaks, despite the wind and the hill, sub-2 still just possible at 12 miles: 1:49:25. And then... I was gone. Couldn't run for over 3 minutes at once. Next time. (Watch time, for obvious reasons)

RichyC Not really a pb course but feeling fit just now so hopefully put in a decent run. Update - Overall pleased to come in just under 1.25 given the conditions. I was strong and felt good at the turn at 8m but with headwind most of the way back slowing was inevitable. Hill at 10.5m wasn't as bad as I had remembered from last year, wind was hard going though. (39th of 430)
