automatic shoes OK, 90 minutes may have been a soft target, but no way did I expect sub-84 (chip time) ! 1st mile way too fast - 7:53 - & altho' I tried to slow down a bit,still went through half-way in 41 exactly. Was expecting to pay for it later, and miles 7-9 were hard, but was able to revive a bit over last mile. A fair, flat (although not scenic) course and I thought the race was very well organised.

Vicksta Before: Hoping for a PB, my 10M PB was Stortford which was X-Country, hilly and hot! After: Wow! :-) :-) :-) Well pleased with my time, on much better form than I thought I was. Not a particularly scenic course, through industrial estates and underpasses, but predominantly flat. Finished just behind D and K, and we were 3rd Ladies Team behind FVS and GCR. The weather was perfect, overcast and about 15 degrees with not much wind.
