Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

ktrose1981 A really fun, friendly run. It was completely different to last year under foot - very wet, muddy and boggy. The sections through the woods were like a mud slide, I was slipping everywhere, it was impossible to run properly and the main aim became staying upright. Everyone took it in light hearted good spirit and although I was several minutes slower than last year I really enjoyed the run and the atmosphere. Also there were no queues for the toilets when we got there! I ran with Tina for the first 3 miles, I ran ahead for the first mile then Tina ran ahead on the second, I overtook her on the hill on the third but then we entered the mud slide and Tina went ahead as I was sliding on the mud, I then couldn't catch her up for the rest of the race although I could see her in front of me and I finished less than 20 seconds behind her. 455 calories burnt and my garmin read 5.03 miles at the end of the race, averaged 9.10 minute miles.
