Gambatte Felt like a good race, pushed it and ignored what ankle was telling me. 5 mins after finishing I could weight bear, but that was about it. Ended up with a 4 week layoff, missing Bolsover.

MeersbrookMiler No-one could miss when the race started - BANG! Raining for most of the first half - at least managed to get warmed up slightly before it chucked it down. Started well and kept a 7 min/mile pace through the first 10 miles - though somehow popped a 6:15 mile split in there (naughty) - but then got a painful left shin, couldn't weight-bear fully, and then by compensating for it also ended up with cramp in the right calf. So slowed down a bit in the final 3 miles but the early pace was good enough to still finish with an unofficial PB. Very good marshals, kept me going in the right direction and kept me going with words of encouragement.

Minnie Mad A nice race but due to various upsets and broken finger I didn't pull off the PB but was only 42 seconds off on what was a much tougher course than Warrington. It had like real hills & stuff! Felt fairly uplifted when I finished but shivered all the way home as I was cold & wet.
