Feb 2011. Running over 2 years. In a couple of local clubs and done several races, up to a marathon. No specific goals apart from enjoying the running and keeping the weight down I don't class myself as a fast runner, more a midfield, 'also ran', but then I'm used to comparing myself with club runners.... I'm probably faster than I think I am. Definitely faster than the majority of 45 year old couch potatoes Every so often I have to calm myself down and remind myself I got into this to keep fit and enjoy myself, not to break a 45min 10k or a 4hr marathon. Both of which I've not done yet. I'm returning to Robin Hood in September. This time I'm not aiming for 4hrs. I would like to beat my PB and get round without walk breaks. I think I've now got enough experience of what to do and what not to do.... I'll manage this goal
