Go-KL Bramley 20 Ran as true marathon simulation, started near back picked people off felt really easy and strong at Lower hr than expected. At 13 took gel and just raised HR to 164, then last 3 miles ran as Half M and felt great could have gone on. Sciatica on left leg and pain in left stomach and groin which would lead to big problems.

Gobi With Vomit so steady and controlled. UPDATE***********
Vomit ran a great race using a 28 min run 4 min walk strategy.(I hate walking) Was strange walking so early but really paid off in the second 10 miles as we continually moved past people.

Jonny Aimed to run at anything better than 8 min/mile pace but wasn't really going to happen with injuries & lack of training for this distance. Went off a bit too fast but found it very easy for the first 5 miles, through 10 miles in 1.16 & still going fine through 16.5 miles but then hit the wall & finished like a tortoise in agony. Still, pretty pleased overall. Discovered later in the evening the foot injury is back, felt it at 4 miles but it then subsided, now I'm in agony & my legs are as stiff as cardboard.

Ronnie Wibbley New PB by about quarter of an hour, so delighted with result, especially as I managed to keep to even pace throughout. Nice course, no hills at all to speak of, and a woolly hat in the goodie bag that came in very handy on the way home when the car developed transmission trouble in the pouring rain.

Windsurfin' Susie Thanks to Minks who dragged me round the first bit and set me at a pace faster than intended. I still managed to keep it at training pace so hopefully recovery should be quick. A big PB, but the real effort comes in 2 weeks at Christchurch.
