Baldy Dave Doing this one as first long run of Amsterdam Marathon training.I'll be happy to just get round. Furthest I have run in 22 years but it went great, bleeding nipples aside. Terrific course,beautiful countryside, although it probably was a bit wet for road shoes but managed to stay on my feet. Well organised race def one to do again.

Heavy treader This was a cracker! First time at this distance and over the terrain,used it as a training run for the Yorkshireman Marathon,only snag with the race was the lack of freeze spray at the water station had to hobble round 22k with a dodgey leg. This is a must do race for all thinking about it!

Paulie Fantastic race, with tough hills, and wonderful views of the Derwent Valley. Perfectly organised too, with tea and chips in the clubhouse afterwards.

rollerman Not done this before, so wait to see what happens..... I think somewhere like 3h 30m who knows? Great race well organised well marshalled, slippery and wet in shinning cliffs woods, but all in all great race and well pleased with my time. Was a big struggle for the last 4 ish miles, just kept plugging away.

RunningBob Sounds like a great race. And it was. Up with the leaders for most of the race but faded rather to 3rd. Happy with that - it was a great race.

runnyeyes Running with JAH...I've not beeen past HM, and they've been flat! Still really looking forward to it:-) Well..that was one of the most enjoyable runs..ever.Even at 14miles I was thinking ..I don't want this to end! Then I became aware that James was having a bad second half..we resorted to run/walk for the last 4 miles.Really nice to meet more loverly Fetchies! A good day :-)

tramps When going for a PB taking 18 mins for the opening mile & a half is not ideal. Excellent race with some tough hills.

Velociraptor Planning to toddle round this one with Running Duck. Hope I can keep up with her :o) *UPDATE* Ended up doing this one on my own, and aimed to treat it as a LSR. And what a lovely LSR it was! Very undulating, very multi-terrain, several updulates which had to be walked, several extremely satisfying wheeeeeeeeeeeeee-able downdulates. It's a hard course and I'm very glad I was taking in the scenery rather than trying to race. Nice to meet lots of Fetchies :o) I'll be worth lots of Fetchpoints if I ever do a road 30k!
