Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I went up this morning too and having taken 55:23 I'm very impressed Gobi! Still a 4 min PR for me.

Lark - that's the 2nd time I've been up there and thought I might have had some sort of fluke when I accidentally nudged under the hour. Surely, surely that's gotta be the 1st target?

I have my weight in at 55kg and when I went on the scales this morning I was a weeny bit lighter to no cheating :-)

I read elsewhere that it's 45s per kg up the Alpe, so that leaves me still on a paltry 1h08 weight adjusted! But I do need a second tilt at it, as I certainly wasn't eyeballs out to the top. Though not saying I could take much more than a few minutes off it.

I was just ahead of you in 53.41 WW. For me that's about 3.7wpk - It was at the end of the Four Horsemen route which is definitely one of the more challenging ones. Takes you up the Hilly Climb, Volcano, Epic KOM to the radio tower, then finishes off with ADZ.

you've been putting in some incredible brick sessions Tizer. This may have been a cycling only effort but, still, to me that's an astonishing time up the Alpe after all those miles / climbing.

Lark - I suppose I was thinking that we should be reasonably equally matched given that we're close from a running perspective, age, not avid cyclists. I know it's not as simple as that but just trying to egg you on a little!

Zwift is scarily addictive. Already looking at more expensive turbos. It's a really good job they are all out of stock.

I'm racing The Horsemen route on Saturday morning Tizer, that radio tower climb is a little rude !!

WW - I am lucky that I had my bad crash 2 years ago and bought a watt bike for rehab

Some amazing times up ADZ.

Can I just check, are these measured on the strava segment (7.59m 3,398ft) or elsewhere ?
Mine was 1:24, I was just pleased to be able to keep peddaling.
