You folk are obsessed with Vaseline!
Have had a look at some of my local ones, one does say has groups for everything from beginners up, the other looks like its for fast peeps *not for the likes of me* Lol!

I wonder how far away you live from us, nlt? Our running club is based in Stanley in Wakefield. We are a small and friendly club and divide ourselves up into runs according to speed, mood and inclination. Everyone is welcome.

I'm quite interested in joining a running club but I'm too scared :/ Also difficult to commit myself to attending very regularly. Also too confusing to pick one.

Could you ask people at your local park run whether they are club runners and get some inside info that way nil? I love being in a club and have improved loads since joining, even though it's a big, famous, scary club and I'm pretty old and slow thoroughly recommend it from my experience
