Well done Charlie and Alice! It was quite oppressive here last night (still is today) so I wouldn't mind betting that even indoors, dogs would be affected by it.
Flossie has just got back from a walk with Lily - we walked from here as the hills are totally lost in fog and heavy rain. They have had a wonderful time splashing through all the standing water in the fields :-). Now she's home, had a good rub down and is already fast asleep on the sofa. Can't be a bad life

Followed Flossie's lead and ignored the teaming rain to take a walk across the fields. The rain kept everyone else away so we had a very relaxed walk, I could let Charlie off lead without worrying about him chasing after other dogs as there weren't any! He needed a good shower when we got back but is now snoring under the table

I have a new Ralph problem.
Yesterday morning he found a disturbed (there were eggshells around that weren't his doing) partridge nest - there were probably at least 8 eggs in it before whatever got there before Ralph disturbed it, but still a couple left which he managed to eat before I got his lead on and him under control again.
(Do partridges lay that many eggs? do they have communal nests or had something/someone put so many together?)
Now he has learnt how/where they nest he won't stop hunting for them
