Monty is very much like that. I’ve been loading him full of treats every time we see another dog to get him used to the idea that other dogs are a good thing. He’s definitely coming round to the idea and has had a number of good interactions recently. But I’m still very wary and get him back on the lead if there are lots of dogs around, or especially any type of bulldog/frenchie/husky as he seems to have a built in hatred for any of them!

Tussock vizsla has decided it’s spring and has gone out to sun bathe. He’s ten and a half but like a pup still a lot of the time

Cookie and Phoebe also enjoy a good sunbathe when it’s warm. Health check/vaccinations for Phoebe today. Not to be outdone by Cookie who was confirmed with cataracts a couple of weeks ago, Phoebe now has cataracts to go with her arthritis and under active thyroid. But is in good health.

Shadow likes to lie in the sun until he's almost too warm for me to touch, preferably in a nice dusty patch of bare ground in the garden.
I suspect Lanza may be similar, once it's sunny enough and she's well enough recovered to be cone free.
They are Spanish, after all. This northern European climate isn't really what they're designed for.

We know when summer has arrived when Floss asks to go out, not for a wee but to lie in the sunshine

Monty has never been a super cuddly dog, so it was extra nice when he snuggled up to me with his head on my shoulder He’s definitely getting more affectionate as he’s getting older (2 and a half now)

Our previous Border Collie, Moss, would let himself out in dead of winter and just sit there. Leaving it rather chilly in the kitchen as he never got the hang of closing the doors he could so effectively open.
He was brought up on the coast north of Wick so he probably found Nairn a bit tropical.
