We had a call earlier from the rescue centre to say the dog we're hoping to adopt has arrived at the kennels and is booked in for a health check on Tues. All being well we will go up on Wed to see how he and Frankie (our Shih Tzu cross) get on. If they're OK together we'll bring him home.

In the view of the experienced rescue centre manager it was unlikely to work. The dog ŵe had hoped to adopt was a blind three year old cocker spaniel. A beautiful dog. Hopefully he'll find a home soon.
