Stella hasn’t eaten anything disgusting lately, but she did enjoy a good stick earlier this week.

Great pics Fergus.
Wanda has a coat very similar if not exactly the same as that but it is her 'coldest weather' coat and she usually wears the lighter ones unless it's really baltic.

I've just blogged this...
"We 'bit the bullet' and invested in an hour on Zoom with a dog behaviourist tonight. I wish we had spoken to her years ago when Jet was a puppy and developed anxiety about going out for walks with Mr.
She asked some pertinent questions and the outcome is that Mr now has a plan to rebuild Jet's confidence in him. It all goes back to the horrible dangerous road that was outside our front door when Jet was a puppy. It set up a lifetime aversion to traffic, and the fear of going through the door to face it is the cause of the growling when Mr picks up Jet's lead. We're going to do some desensitisation work.
It also became clear during our discussion that Jet does not have resource-guarding issues. Instead he has invented a game to get the humans to react and pay attention. It works very well, but now we know we're being 'played', we can change the rules and play different games. Basic cause - an over-active brain!
We've agreed that the behaviourist can write us up as a case study to show that a problem that looks like one thing can sometimes be something completely different.
Every day is a school day."

Wow that sounds like some time well spent with the behaviourist and hope that Mr and Jet build a much happier walking relationship.

Smart doggos on their jackets, what brilliant photos Fergus, definitely sounds like a great call with your behaviourist, how clever and sneaky are our pooches!!
I've just dropped Lola off at the kennels for her 'holidays', it was awful! I hope she forgives us.

This is Son 2 working today: He works at a doggy day care centre, and they were taking it in turns to thaw out in the barn - it was bitter out in the paddock today

Great pic - looks like the dogs weren't keen on being in the paddock either!
