Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I don't normally click on links to the MoS either but sound advice there and great to see Boots featured too. But further down the story - what on earth is a Pomsky? Surely not a Pomeranian X Husky????

So on his walk this morning with my partner, Arlo saw a man taking photos of the birds at the lake. He heard the camera shutter and ran across and sat in front of the man and looked up at him waiting for treats.

Safe to say he has learnt the camera noise from all the pictures I take of him.

My partner doesn't usually think her photos are particularly good of arlo but I think this is stunning.

I just can't bring myself to click on a DM link out of principle. Sorry! Even though I'd love to see the photo and read about Boots.

Well I slept a bit more last night. I had the camp bed in the lounge. He goes in his crate but I’m not yet shutting him in as he gets so worked out and I don’t want to condition a negative response. He first went on the sofa but settled nicely then came and slept on me. I’m going to see this as a transition - he’s come from sleeping with mum and 4 litter mates and I think was on and off the sofas etc and now I can’t expect him to immediately adjust to a crate.

Will keep working on building good bed and crate associations and see if I can transition him. I’ve decided the living room is best. I can manage accidents if needed (he’s not had any at night) and my sofas are not new and already have some hidden stains (mostly wine 😂) and his crate is in there.

Now got to figure out how to have a shower... His attention span is like a gnat and nothing keeps him occupied more than a minute or so.
