Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Apparently he was a very good hare courser back in the day. Could last all day. Luckily kipps didn't get that trait. He once picked one up on a walk and just held it gently by the head looking at us. He put it down totally unharmed!

Just checking his pedigree and Sooty Sam was featured a LOT on the bitches side. No wonder kipps was loopy.

Mostly show dogs other than sooty sam though.

Oh yes I forgot about hare coursing.

So I don’t usually promote the work of the Mail on Sunday and I usually don’t agree with spokespeople being part of the story, but I’ll put all that aside to talk about Bootsey:

I see he uses a harness. If you still have problems with him reacting it might be trying a gentle leader:

Much easier to turn the dogs head away from issues. Used to use one on kipps, he hated it at first and used to try to get it off but grew to love it lol

You can use still with a harness and use a double ended lead on both.
