Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Lol Sharkie!

I’m mostly worried about the toileting with sharing a bed and I would prefer he didn’t. I think actually if we crack the toileting I may be much more relaxed. That and working towards being able to have a shower without my friend coming round!

How many days now Pen? Can you resign yourself to a week or two of toileting and sleep training? Perhaps accepting it will be a bit tough for a while will make it less stressful?

All dogs and breeds are different but they're all a whole lot quicker out of nappies than human babies!

NB Am not suggesting nappies for dogs.

Arlo has been in a crate in the kitchen since day 1. Have a stair gate so his first visit upstairs was about a month in and he went to the toilet in every room 😂. He doesnt toilet in the house at all now, but only comes upstairs if we are both there (usually brought by my other half to wake me up)

Got lucky with night time and toilet as he was an outside dog when we got him and just seemed to get on with it fairly quickly. He did bark once last night at 2am but stopped immediately (there was a yapping dog outside).

Oh yeah - I forgot - our kind neighbours donated their stair gate! We couldn't have done without it.

Puppies do wee everywhere to begin with - they're just little!

Beautiful Tuss heart

Pen - do you have puppy pads for during the night? We used them with Charlie when he was little, saved us having to let him out during the night.
