I look forward to hearing about Flossie’s first walks.
Hugs for Ralph ( and Rosehip of course).
Skye will soon learn, especially if there’s chicken involved. I’m sure Harrie would have put her in her place if needed.
A friend practiced her grooming skills on Ernie yesterday. She did her training then went into lockdown so needs to build confidence. I’m not sure if she’ll want to do him again. He doesn’t like anyone near his legs or delicate regions.

Hugs for RH and Ralph.
Floss wad very pleased to go for a short walk round the block this morning but it clearly tired her as she then snored loudly on the sofa for the rest of the morning! OH has just taken her out for her second short walk. She is so excited to see her lead

So pleased to hear about Floss. Jess sends best wishes to her Fetch puppy twin and offered some extra loud barking. Raffo and I said that would not be necessary.

I think my comment vanished. I like the idea of a Beds Fetchie dog meet.

Thanks for the hugs
Ralph was poorly yesterday afternoon, I almost called the vets again, but today he's been better and just had is mad 7 pm "find all the things I'm not allowed and run about with them " for the first time in about 10 days.
he's now sat on the deck watching the fireworks - again.

Do NOT mention fireworks. Skye is alternating between "no problem" (cue smug-face from me) to terrified quivering wreck (had to be carried home on a walk. Twice) to ridiculous barking ...scared but not terrified...to blissful ignorance when we managed to distract her with a pig ear...and now it's bedtime, it's barking mad again. Sigh.

Tried covering her ears with a buff, which is fine while she's distracted with pig bits, but as soon as she notices, she rubs it off.

You know what's lovely? Watching the kids relationship with the dog develop. Skye is getting much less nibbly & the kids are loving playing with her. It's been such a nice weekend so far. I hope it keeps going this way.

Boots was ok with the fireworks until one of the houses in front of us decided to set some off. He was a bit agitated for a while and his fear of the kitchen reared it’s ugly head again.
Glad Ralph is on the mend.
Mum’s dog Pippa is failing again. Mum almost made the call to the vets last week but Pips has been a bit livelier over the last few days. Yesterday tho she refused to eat, not uncommon for Pips but it usually when there’s something else going on. If it happens during lockdown I’m going to hate not being able to go and comfort my mum.
