Just caught bloody Rory trying to emulate Wanda, but fortunately with few enough milk chocolate mini eggs that it PROBABLY wouldn't be a disaster for someone his size, and even more fortunately he didn't manage to ingest any so we don't need to find out.
Apparently the horse vet can now do routine vaccinations again (just found out this evening) so hopefully it won't be too long before routine procedures the are back.

Wanda says 'Go Rory - that's my boy' - thank goodness you got to him in time. Milk chocolate is less dangerous than dark chocolate but still a worry. Wanda still goes into the upstairs study and has a good sniff around every day now just in case she missed any on Sunday night....!

I got a call from the Cambridge Uni supervet last evening. She wanted to know how Ralph was getting on and to say thay they are starting to see cases who are no absolute emergencies. Seeing as I could tell her Ralph seems OK, apart from his limp, and I could say no to a list of symptoms she asked me about he's gone down as non-urgent but interesting and she'll call again in a couple of weeks to talk about another ultrasound scan and other potential tests. I think I'd better stop spending so much money on online gardening...

Aw happy birthday Frankie.
Seeing that photo reminds me how badly Ernie needs groomed. I have a cheap set of dog clippers I bought when we first got him. I'm not sure I can muster up the courage.

Our two were due at the groomers early April - They're going to have to wait, although we may trim round Frankie's eyes so he can see properly!
