Poppy-the-(very large) puppy arrived last night with all her gubbins to stay while Ellen goes off to Greece for a week. I think I've managed to put everything away or out of reach. I was up at 5 to take her for a walk before I left for work and she'll have a couple of visitors during the day. She slept in the utility room last night and there wasn't a peep out of her - such a good girl! I thought she might be a bit anxious. It's going to be good fun having her around

We have a dog guest today - the French Bulldog puppy called Floki, whose legs have doubled in length since he moved in with Sprog. He and Jet are tolerating each other quite well, and Floki is following Jet around and copying Jet on sit, stay, back, come here etc. It seems to be true that the older dog trains the younger. Now if we can persuade Jet not to pass on any bad habits that would be a real bonus.
