Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Cleo (Whippet) is doing my head in this evening.

- Paces living room, and whines pathetically.
- Stands at door and whines even louder when asked ‘do you need out’.

- Tries her best to trip me up when I get up from sofa to let her out.

- Sticks her head out the back door, and decides she doesn’t really want out, as it’s raining.

She’s performed this routine four times already this evening. If swearing at dogs were considered cruelty, I’d be up on a charge by now!

I find the combination of long dark evenings and bored dog "quite" hard work :)

Tuss is fairly low maintenance if he has one or two decent walks per day. He’s not bothered about going out much before 8 or even 9am and has settled down for the night often by 7pm heart

Floss has reached the stage where she'll take herself off to bed mid-evening and resist all efforts to make her go in the garden for a bedtime wee ;-)

As far as I know Ernie didn’t even register the crackers. I am already trying to formulate a plan for NYE just in case we have fireworks going off right over the house like last year. I’m thinking I will have him in with me and music on hand to attempt to drown out the noise. Any other suggestions?

Tuss wasn’t any more keen at this morning’s photo stop at the infamous Hoot corner
