I'll keep them coming. Have just come back from having a cuddle. She makes me laugh because she can be tearing around like a lunatic, chewing everything in sight but as soon as you pick her up, she just flops and relaxes and cuddles 
We didn't get to introduce her to George today so will do it at the weekend.

Rory is a proper pain in the evenings. From about 7-10pm he’s really difficult to settle.
Having said that, just now he was asleep on the armchair (he went away for a sleepover last night, so he’s tired). Then someone in Dr Who rang a doorbell, and now he’s looking for the visitor. I don’t know how he knows what a doorbell means, because we don’t have a doorbell, but he’s definitely expecting someone...

That's amusing Maz. Jet responds to the doorbell on TV, but we do at least have the same doorbell at home so it makes sense.

Maz that's puzzled me before about dogs. We have a bell, but if our old Lab heard a 'ding-dong' type doorbell on the TV she reacted as if someone was at our door. Weird

Poppy and George net for the first time today. We put the muzzle on George because he’s a bossy terrier and can’t be trusted not to snap.
He was a bit disgruntled at first because he couldn’t understand why he was having to share all the people he loves most with the puppy thing and told her off quite sharply.
We walked around the field with him off the lead and Poppy on a long line. She kept chasing him and trying to play and he either ignored her or gave her that ‘sod off, young ‘un’ growl. He also got jealous when we made a fuss of her so we made sure that he got lots of attention too.
Once or twice, he decided he might like to play with her but he plays very roughly which was a bit much for Poppy. She wasn’t in the least bit frightened of him though and we didn’t let her pester him too much.
It was a good start and E and I will walk them together once a week from now on.

I don’t think my Brown Lab ever learned to read when another dog wasn’t interested in playing. Went through her whole life just assuming everybody was nice and wanted to play. Got to love that outlook!
