It sounds like you’ve gone through plenty with her so far. My only advice would be a muzzle training program. However I’m going to assume that’s been done so that she is happy to put the muzzle on rather than wrestle her into submission. I would suggest to keep looking round though, something might come up that’s perfect for her.

Getting it on her isn't a problem but she would keep rubbing her head on the floor to try to take previous ones off, which made the sore spots worse. However she does that less now and is more inclined to bash the muzzle against people's legs. The bruises I have had as a result are far worse than anything she would do with her teeth.........
I will probably take the under chin strap off this one once I know she isn't going to take the muzzle off herself though.

We muzzle most of the greyhounds and lurches where I work because of the breed behaviours of sight hounds (and because 2 cats live on site). Two of them in particular rub the muzzle on anything they can to try and get it off. This includes jamming heads between legs.

Our first spaniel used to enjoy working his way through a disused railway embankment and would emerge with 10 inch bramble sticks wrapped into his ears!

It took me forty minutes yesterday to remove the sticky-leaves and the grass burrs from Jet's coat. They were stuck *everywhere*.

So far this year we have not had the joy of removing greenery from Ernie. I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

But good for nettle stings (better than dock leaves apparently)
