Bless Wanda, I mean to say before the visit to the kennels must have been so distressing. We are going to a different place for the first time this weekend, I'm glad I have found it as Indi is now scared of the previous place and its owner. I so hope he will be ok as I really need to be able to leave him and not worry; easier said than done.
I think Wanda will enjoy going back to class and any learning is a good thing apparently!

Oh Wanda and Jet! In your different ways you are such characters!!
BBL if Wanda ate her food that's a good sign and there be far less 'performance' next time. Very very distressing for you though. Hel I do admire your sticking at these competitions! Jet clearly has a ball

We returned to a new 'term' at our old obedience class today. We haven't been since we started at Naughty Dog School because I couldn't afford (financially or timewise) to attend two classes a week. All our former classmates' owners were very impressed at how relaxed Wanda was around their dogs. There was a new dog joining this term so I asked if Wanda could introduce herself (the more you ask people if your dog can have a sniff of their dog's bottom the easier it gets I find... ) and our teacher couldn't believe it when she turned up a few minutes later and Wanda was lying down quietly a couple of feet away from the new dog.
If I'd had any doubts about whether Naughty Dog School was money well spent or not today proved that it definitely was.
Very proud owner today...

I am dogless! Indi has gone to new kennels; well they don't have kennels they have house guests so he has gone for a sleep over. I hope he is ok, I hope he is not scared, I hope they like him, I hope they are kind and tolerant of his little ways, I hope he is ok. I'm fetching him back Sunday; that's ages away

He will be fine D, you know that, but the first time is always a bit unsettling...for the owner
for Wanda - that's a lovely story from your class this week.
I collected Floss from my sister's yesterday, after nearly three weeks either here at home or there, with puppy Lottie. They have clearly gelled really well - my brother-in-law said he was amazed at Floss' tolerance of puppy pestering but with the occasional firm 'putting in her place'. I think they will both miss the other a bit, but they are spending a good deal of September together (mostly here) and then all of November (again mostly here) so I will have the joys of two dogs enough to stop me thinking we ought to get a second dog of our own
