I agree about Lottie bonding with Flossie, HP. Floss is staying with them next week, so Lottie will have had doggy company for nearly three weeks, which is a long time in a little pup's life.
For example, the evening zoomies are much more fun when there's another dog to play with

Just had the evening zoomies here - out through back door, in through conservatory, up the stairs, down the stairs, leap onto the sofa, dig frantically at the sofa...and repeat. All the while clutching ridiculous squeaky blue alien toy. He's now crashed out on the living room floor

lol... our zoomies incorporate a paddling pool....
I'm not sure Indi is ever totally focused on me except when I'm trying to have a sit down and he wants "something"

Jet had a treat yesterday. We had an evening out and left him with Sproglet overnight for the first time. Sheer doggy bliss. His first love object (her), a toddler to play with, and the first time he's been in their home since their rogue, rescue dog was rehomed so he wasn't attacked. From all that has been said, and the photographs of the toddler and dog playing together, I gather it was a bit of a 'love-in'.
I've been asked to bring Jet with me tonight when I do some babysitting.
However... Sproglet left Jet in his fabric crate and went to collect Irish Boy and Unicorn Girl from school. As they came back to the front door, Jet was there waiting for them. He has learned how to push the zipper down. Which suggests that it wasn't me being careless at the dog show on Saturday when Jet got out of his crate in my car and raided the treats bag that I'd left in the driver's door pocket.

I applaud his ingenuity. It's lovely that he feels totally relaxed and happy with sproglet and toddler.
You've just reminded me we have a fabric crate to get rid of. We tried it on the camping trip but I think it was a bit on the small side - and Ernie preferred to be in our sleeping pod.

Clever Jet . I know a pony who can undo zips on jacket pockets to get to the polos inside.

Our fabric crate has been invaluable and we use it all the time in the car and when camping. I noticed yesterday that there is some fabric wear anda couple of tiny tears so we may need to replace it. On the subject of the zip I've thought of a potential solution, which simply means zipping down not up. It may slow Jet down for a while. If not he will have to wear his harness in the crate and be clipped in.

Could you put a safe pin through the tab on the zip to secure it H?

Good thinking D2.
(I'd got as far as padlocks and cable ties in my thinking, and forgot the humble safety pin.)
