In normal times I would agree but it has been the pefect game for lockdown when pretty much every bit of exercise has started from the door.

Jayfire, if you look at your offending run trace/map via your log and click the button to superimpose the WSW grid you might find that the actual GPS trace missed the square. The alternative explanation is that you had what we call a ninja square: The GPS record is a series of points and not a line (even though we usually display it as the latter). It's these points that must fall within squares to count. Depending on your swim/walk/run/bike speed and your GPS settings, the gap between actual GPS points can be less than a metre all the way up to more than 50 metres. On my Garmin, "smart" recording records fewer points to save battering and memory, but "record every second" is what I use for WSW.

oooh, looks like my draw with RRR-Caz had a points impact and I think I gained 7 and Caz lost 7. I had assumed it would mean our scores were unchanged?

Bazoaxe - it is a function of the ELO system. I guess it is the WSW equivalent of a mid table football team being delighted to come away with a point against the league leader so ranking improves but the leader has “dropped points”

I’ve just started playing this game (I signed up ages ago but left my grid in the sea and forgot about it!) and I won my match! I’m far too excited about this 🤣🤣

Thanks Daddy Shark, the route map shows the square being visited and I spent quite a while in it but it didn't recognise it on WSW's anyway for some reason. Never mind, I'll have to try and get the 200 squares again, it's just my grid isn't exactly helpful with that 🤣

Wabo hi 👋 I'm sure you'll give me a tough week. Good luck 👍
