Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Good to hear Limegreenjelly - hope it's all working OK for you but, as I mentioned last week, there's plenty of support here if and when you have questions :)

In that vein - Wallman - I believe Em has that right.

In other news, on the basis that repeatedly doing the same thing and hoping for a different result is a sign of madness, I've had a go at moving my grid for this week's match against CAZ. I don't know whether it improves my chances of winning but it 'should' give me a fighting chance of getting somewhere much closer to the 200 squares badge. Let's see how it goes.

And finally - ITG - 7min/km in the conditions you describe is more than respectable and not far off the pace I managed through some of the mud I've had to deal with recently.

In that case, thank you for your encouragement. Digger have been out on most of the road but I'll be writing to my council* if they've neglected the pavements, given the policy to increase walking, cycling and bus use and reduce dependency on cars.

*not really but it is still really annoying.

Thanks CA, seems ok! Iโ€™m just a bit annoyed at โ€˜missing squaresโ€™ on my route but I will have run out of places to run before the week is out so maybe I will hit them next time round! ๐Ÿ˜‚

ITG - I agree with CW, 7min/km in THAT snow is a great pace

My muddy hilly LSR on Saturday was 7:28min/km pace

FW(L)IW, 7min/km would have mullered my track pace for the latter half of last year.

Most of my running is at 7-7.30 a km, this is my steady daily pace. itโ€™s a comfortable level from which I can maintain the kind of mileage I like to do ๐Ÿ˜‚

Indeed. But you are all running ultras and I was trying to get round an undulating 5k!

It does look like they have cleared the roads a bit so hopefully I can get on a bit better today.
