I was badly shaken to be honest, and I can't really remember much about how I got home (I was 3 miles away when I fell). Bottom and top lips cut and swollen, and grazes over my nose and face, a bad cut on my chin and a black eye There was a lot of blood and I was very worried about my teeth and possibility of a broken nose, but I called 111 and they recommended going to minor injuries to get checked over, and they gave me the all clear. It shook me up and I'm replaying the incident in my mind still (it was nothing to do with ice, but I tripped on a trail I've done many, many times), so I hope I can overcome that...I'm sure I will. I can't run though as if I do anything too suddenly I do get some dizziness currently, but that will pass. It could have been a lot worse though, so I was lucky really.
