There’s a bit of leeway as 4 in the top 64 have declared a break for next week. 139 current cutoff...

Unfortunately, controversial picked up a serious injury on Thursday, so I've got my first win in five by default. It was going to be close. Get well soon!

geordiegirl, to add some flesh to pothunter's bones: the multiplayer leaderboard is based first on squares owned* and then on squares explored to break ties between people owning the same number of squares. At the end of each week (11:57ish on Monday) the top half of the players qualify for the following week. This keeps going until the final week which is between two players. So 128 players in the first week, then 64, 32, 16, 8, 4 then 2. If people are tied on both measures in the final qualifying place, all the tied people are put into the next week.

*to own a square you must have the most points, just like in 1v1. You score points in exactly the same way as 1v1. The difference is that you need more points than all the other players to own a square.

I just noticed Dochart got gridmaster too. Congratulations. That's 6 of you just within the 128 in the multiplayer this week.

WSW should probably come with a liability disclaimer.

GWS Controversial.

Wow! Six in a week!
I was definitely inspired by seeing others doing it. Maybe Gridmastering has an R-factor.

Dippy: thanks! (unless you are luring me into complacency... ;-) ) Did do a bike ride this morning just to wake myself up. Wasn't WSW focused, although it did influence whether I went north or went south. Just in case it helped!

I didn’t get any points for my short walk, recorded late on Sunday and uploaded early on Monday. This supports not being allowed to carry activities over midnight on Sunday.

Congratulations to all the Gridmasters.

Congrats to the newly minted gridmasters!

Hope you get well soon Raemond. If you'd gotten out you would have beaten my score.
