I’ve been hanging on to three “-1” squares in multiplayer since yesterday ...
I have to do a mid-week grid move to get much over 100 squares visited and so I use that tactic for 1v1 if I think a win is in sight. However, it works directly against my multiplayer position, as the few squares where I have built up a bit of a score end up being unreachable for the rest of the week. I think I’m going to have to do some careful plotting to find two grid positions where I can still keep visiting a certain number of squares common to both.

Synge, you seemed to have solved the issue when you made it to the semifinal. Surely that'll work for a few more weeks, even though things are a bit tighter now.

Indeed, DS, and my 1v1 took a back seat for a few weeks then. As you’ll know, that was a matter of covering fewer squares lots of times!
I was also cycling my main run circuit a couple of times a week purely to augment my WSW score. Whereas now, running through Tennessee means I am far too knackered to even think about inflating the bike tyres!
Priorities, priorities!

It’s certainly a nail biter for me this week. The most squares ever visited (164) thanks to a grid move and it’s still touch and go whether I get through or not...

And D15s a pretty low scorer too, hence why I went to try and claim in this morning, even did some of that dull walking lark! Alas it seems someone else had the same idea so gotta cross fingers that 176 explored gets me through!
