In terms of covering the whole grid, I worked out the other day that to cover my grid in one session would be about 35 miles. That includes planning the route with lots of u turns to be as efficient as possible.

I did 2 corners today and it was 7 miles. My home point is a mile from where I live, so the bottom right corner is quite a way away. And it's hilly, so just over 1220 feet of up.

Fizz :-)
I managed all four of my corners in 12 miles the other week. But my house had to be a mile outside the grid to do it.

My Gridmaster last week was done in three runs totalling 32.7mi. I could reduce that by cutting out a little bit of overlap if I did it in one go

Oh, also meant to say, regarding the scary "logging out" procedure suggested a few pages back - you could also just right-click the link to a match and "Open link in incognito window" (procedure/wording is for Chrome on Windows, but others will be similar)

Ok, so the swim was only 10 minutes in a small section of the river, but that's 10 minutes more than I've done in years, and was mostly Rae trying to teach me how not to sink... This evening's bike ride was only to round out all the activities

Well done, Sam! Sounds like your swim was colder and more perilous than mine.

I think itโs just Spanish for 8, but it was inspired by a recent watch of Dodgeball. TV Channel ESPN 8 โThe Ochoโ broadcasts obscure sports - which I thought was a good fit for WSW
