on my (road bike) cycle this evening, my route around the SW corner included a wooded area that takes up a complete square. not wanting to risk a puncture i rode in to the park entrance and turned around at the third tree, which i calculated would get me the square. But i missed it by literally one foot so had to drive back afterwards, park the car, walk in an out of the park for 100m, and log it as walking!

Sorry DTs, I didn’t get the memo until I got back from my run. With the lockdown and other stuff I had cut right back, this is probably the biggest week for a few months.
I’m impressed with your miles to squares ratio, it’s been to and fro all week despite me getting a head start on Monday.
PS Eurovision is more likely to have me reaching for the headtorch😀

I’m very lucky here, almost no inaccessible squares, lots of route options, etc.
I’ll remember to get my whining and excuses in earlier for the rest of the week!

Heading out of town on the bike today and an out of town run on the cards tomorrow. I'm getting slaughtered by McGoohan anyway but hope I haven't made it too easy.
