I took a break then forgot to leave the game! sorry stevegabb! abandoning the match, & the game, till everyone’s able to go out more. So I can be mean & swim/cycle/run & walk good luck all of you! I’m going to read back & see if the ‘once a day’ has changed the game more to runners.

Is it just me that loves it when my opponent does nothing, resulting in an walkover for me?

I find that a tad frustrating. it's a game, play the game as well as you can. |

Well, last week I won 90-0. Bit boring TBH but I hope my 'opponent' is OK. This week I suspect I will be on the reverse of a similar (but not nil) trouncing, hi G! |

I like to win with the minimum of effort It's annoying when people keep nicking your squares.

JCB

That’s an idea to consider, especially for some of the longer areas. >At the moment it would take a very long fmail to incorporate all the possible updates. Not sure I understand how fmail would be shorter. People tend to pick just one or a few areas to add to the stats. >Then remind us every so often to check for outstandingly 'good' or 'bad' performances. Yes, good idea. Maybe I am a bit subtle trying not to come across as spamming... occasionally when I’ve updated the stats I’ll write a forum post about it (I should also ask for any updates, though the blog does ask for any). |

Synge and DaddyShark, yeah, it was a timing thing. Fetch notified me of an updated match score and a new match. One of the links took me to me and Wackie Racer (who beat me prev week) showing 0 - 0, so I thought it was new match. But going into Current Match again it is Stu. Hi Stu (waves)! I just run where I can locally, not really picking off squares. But if I can run 4 or 5 miles at lunch time 4 or 5 times a week, I'm usually getting 100+ squares, so that's where we'll be by end of week. If you do 90 we'll be close! G |

Whomp! That's the sound of me throwing in the towel already. Carpathius landed a 58x 2-pointer on me straight off the bat. Still, gives me the chance to spend some more time out of square

Sorry Dvorak, it was run or have a screaming meltdown. Today may have been cheating; I ran to two different pharmacies to collect prescriptions but I'm supposed to be doing the club session tonight with Mr Carp. I may well leave it until tomorrow though. |
