The reason I had a break from WSW before was that I got a bit too obsessive about it but got some good results and ended up a bit high up the charts. I vasn't enjoying it though. So this morning I'm 65-62 behind and I'm early at work. I was *this* close to going out and doing a 4-square grabbing run-walk but... that's a bit nuts isn't it. Weath deserves his win this week.

I'll do my proper run at lunchtime instead as intended. And get a start on this week's game ;-)

Very sensible thinking McG.

I am having to take a week off because I still can't walk and breath so running is out of the question until my lungs recover. I have been well and truly beaten this week with over 100 points to my 3 :-0 Sorry I couldn't put up a better fight.

No time to sneak in a walk before work this morning so I have to bow before the might of the Chuckle Brothers! Well done Gary C :-)

Well played, Wallman, you certainly deserved the win this week. Sorry I wasn't much of a challenge to you.

so close in my game with VJ, he is 4 squares ahead....I could possibly get 4 more squares, but not 5 for the win

Thanks McGoohan. I have been keeping quiet in response to your posts as I too have been toying with the idea of squeezing a few extra efforts in above my normal routine, part helped by the Christmas break, but didn't want to give my plans away ...

I'm a rather early riser on Mondays by necessity and having seen your post last night was *that* close to venturing out at an even more ungodly hour for a 7 miler before work to sweep up some of those shared squares in the hope of counteracting any efforts you'd make yourself.

However, like you, I realised that that would be a "bit nuts" on my first day back at work post-hols and let it be.

Thanks for the game - it kept me on my toes over the week! 😉
