Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Nicely played Cerrertonia, going out for a run while I'm at work, tsk, just netted you enough squares for the win (although I think I concentrated too much on multiplayer last week).

Hi oranj, yes, not having a job at the moment has some advantages...

WSW against someone from the same property.

The big questions, is the home square in the same place, do you ever run together?

Hi Wallman, I hope you're OK. It was a close ding-dong battle until Friday and then not much from you. Were you off scaling a wall, or running an ultra?

Thanks iShep! A variant of ‘highest scoring activity’ in a square sounds like an interesting variant. Would probably lead to more exploration from lower scoring activities in the ‘non-optimised’ squares rather than into duplicated squares that’d already been maximised.

WS, I’m not following the logic you’ve presented. My idea was for walking that goes through more than two WSW squares (more than 4 may be better so that short walks around a grid intersection won’t count).

Hi ITG, I’m guessing someone who likes running in the snow won’t let a few feet of it deter them! 😉

I had to quite after a paltry 12k on Saturday because it was so cold. As soon as I came in, my legs broke out in hives. Even the Arctic Accies have their limits.

That doesn’t sound good. Perhaps resting this week might be prudent. ⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️

No, our home squares are different... So slightly different grid, yes, we sometimes run or walk together. Particularly if I haven't got my bug, am on a streak and on a flying weekend.... I'll get back late on Sunday and he'll walk me out to my bug and back :)

I am getting braver, but not much! haha

I think one point for walking seems perfectly fair. It's less effort and takes less preparation.
