Not logging walking? Whatever next - we'll be saying we shouldn't log driving or flights!

If I didn't log walking 90% of my activities would disappear!

I walked rather than take a bus a few times last week in the interests of bagging squares. In good weather, and if I'm not in a hurry, it's much more enjoyable too.

I also log only runs and biking, if I'm running, walking is not exercise. If I get injured and can't run then walking will count. But this is only my personal motivation 'rule'.

This was good enough for last 8 in the multiplayer once, but for last 4 I suspect a great deal more walking and cycling would be needed.

Having moved my grid to make the last 3 squares accessible Monday morning to complete 225, I am now getting to a few new bits of the town I work in, and many I've never visited in the dark. The Riverside path is lovely with a good head torch!

Normally I site the grid on my village (a less than three mile run away from work, so there is overlap) to give me an incentive to run the dog more as she is very energetic.

Just pop some Lycra on and then whatever you do has to be logged.

I offset my grid from Elsie Too’s so we don’t cancel each other out. Half our last run was off my grid 😂 (and I forgot to start the gizmo for at least 3 squares). Double oops.

Merry Christmas & Happy New G(rrr)
Crikey, this is tough. I've tumbled from 49 to 56 overnight with 59 squares. And am only 11 squares away from 64, so I need to up my squares explored or owned. Fortunately, I've got 2 more days to run - but then I don't run Sat, Sun or Mon in my grid, so I could think I'm sitting pretty Fri and miss the cut on Monday! :-) G

G - on previous experience you’ll probably need to visit around 75 - 80 squares to be sure of getting into round two if you don’t own any at the end of round one.
