Thanks Synge, that was what I was hoping to hit - possibly get to 80 or 90, so *hope* to be safe! :-) G

Somewhat counter to what others have been saying about the top of the game, I don't log walking, and no longer log cycling*. I also note that Maccathecracker has only logged running for at least four weeks. These are not judgements about other people logging those in whatever cicumstances, especially if they've been encouraged to do them by the game (genius fetch motivation!). I clearly am not limited by grid coverage, or weekly mileage, so other people's pressures and decisions will be different. I also note that the final stages of multiplayer might well be limited by my only running.

*[If I ever do walking and cycling for training (rather than just transport) I'll probably log them]

Fth S. - I’ve only a basic understanding of Buddhism (helping/doing y8 homework) but I’m sure the path to enlightenment doesn’t involve running around your WSW grid.😀

I used to log walks if my opponent logged one first but I try not to do that now, each to their own. I’m not averse to a WSW focussed bike ride but when pressed for time, it’s running only.

I’m trying to stick to a spring Mara plan. It’s only the first week but already my resolve is being tested🤣

It is both in the grid, and in the not grid. And the mu state that exists before.

Given that most of my running is done before 7am I don't think it matters whether it's running round my grid or not - it's too dark to see anything anyway - and the only enlightenment is a small circle on the ground provided by my headtorch.

One of the strategic reasons for logging walking and cycling is that, for those with limited access to their squares, and therefore the need to move grid mid-week, you have to have built up sufficient points in the squares you're leaving unprotected so that they're still yours on Monday.

The not grid and Mu state.....that sounds like yr9 or yr10 homework or perhaps a plot line for Stranger Things.

How can people go *down* the multiplayer rank? I've got 89 visited, none owned. A cuple hours ago that was 50 somethingth, now it's 40th.

Oh, I've just worked it out. You could be e.g. 50 + 2 and hence ranked with all the 2s. Then someone else grabs your two and now you are 50 + 0. So you rank with the zeros and below me. Excellent. I'll keep just collecting. Should get another 20 plus tomoz so 110 ish. :-) G
