I enjoy his company and we get on well, but I don’t think of him all the time and I’m not really that keen to involve him with other friends or family. Which says volumes really. As I said to someone before, there isn’t one thing that makes someone right or wrong, you just feel it, and you can’t make yourself feel something different.

We are now good friends and I think he gets a bit lonely. Don't mind spending some time with him but there is no going back. Off to the Highland Show this weekend to talent spot

Got asked by someone I was talking to on Saturday. She then went on to try and say I was some sort of failure for being nearly 50 and not yet married, which I thought was ridiculous. My usual response is that I seem to be happier just enjoying my single life, instead of fussing about not being with someone. But that doesn't seem to be enough for some people.
