Nice! I know not everyone believes in it but it sounds like there's a wee spark there.

He’s a cyclist - wants to hire me a bike so we can go biking on a date. I’m teaching him running 😊

Kudos on each other’s strava training, lots of messages (and kissing emojis!!) and he’s coming over my way for dinner in the week. Even just writing this makes me smile

Reading it makes me smile. Well done that cat.

I had a lovely weekend in Devon. My friends live in a beautiful place in the middle of nowhere; so not convenient to meet Tinder man at the weekend. I ended up breaking my journey in Exeter earlier and meeting him for a coffee by the station. I liked him, he was sane, courteous and I thought sexy also. I messaged when back to say I was back, thanks for the drink he bought me and that I'd like to meet again to chat some more. No reply yet so he probably doesn't feel the same.

As we left, he asked if I was planning to be up his way again and mentioned that he's down my way for work sometimes. I suggested that we both think about if we'd like to meet again and message each other if we do.

He would be someone I'd like to get to know better, as I couldn't tell from that meeting if we'd be good together longer or even short-term. First meetings are often nice and polite, aren't they? You can't always tell if someone has dodgy politics or is a love rat straight away ... :) His divorce is nearly finalised and he's got 3 kids. I'm sufficiently intrigued ... (but I don't think he is :( ) Onwards ...

Awwww RS, funny he should look for a lead to continue talking, yet not take you up on yours when offered later on?

My older guy was chatty enough all week, and the more i thought about it, the more i just couldn't make the leap... I just couldn't bring myself to feel those kinda thoughts. And when i spoke of him to anyone, it just sat with an air of embarrasment. Which is no basis for any kind of relationship.

He took it fine, he's a gentleman, and has continued to speak, but definite friend-zone.

so there was another guy i had spoke to but never met on Tinder. we exchanged numbers a few weeks ago and hadn't ever got round to meeting so it kinda fizzled out.

We have reconnected, and met for coffee on saturday evening... seems nice, sane, solvent and of my generation..... will see what happens, think we are gonna meet up thru the week to walk the dog.

Ooh that's exciting. Your loyal companion can give him the once-over to check he's trustworthy. (Quick nozzle in the crutch to ascertain if he smells sinister or not.)
