Just bemoaning being single to a friend. I’m not strictly single as I’m sort of seeing someone. But generally I still feel single and I’m a bit bored of it now. I especially lack single friends to do stuff with.

Yup Meglet.. I also lack single friends to do stuff with.. hence why I'm often NOT doing anything.
There was a music festival last weekend but I didn't go because I had nobody to go with so I just ended up sitting here, driving myself mad instead.

I’m trying to be proactive. Going to spin and yoga classes. Joined a cycling club. Doing more with running club. But the single men are thin on the ground! And having Teen 2 at home restricts some things-like a social for the spin studio next week when I’ll probably needed as a taxi for dance lessons!
I’m also trying to to be too impatient. That bit is hard!

I’m in the same situation that most of my local friends are in relationships, have kids etc.
I find Meet Up is great for getting out and meeting similar people.
I love getting out and seeing bands. Don’t mind going by myself. Don’t have to worry about anyone else enjoying the music.
I’m the same with Jangles about festivals . It’s not so much that friends can’t go it’s just I tend to be more adventurous with music. I have done a couple of camping festivals on my own and have met people.
Oh and I am go to rock fest near Bristol in August with some people from a Meet Up group 😀

Well he text to see if I got home / say he got home so we had a natter. Upshot is second date next weekend, not sure what yet but I'm smiling and can't wait to see him again  We're already following each other on strava before any social media!!!!
