Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

If I get a rejection I’d rather have a mail as the magazine just goes straight in the recycling

Yeah, in the modern world of IT and need to been seen as 'green' you would think that everyone would just get an electronic magazine, regardless of whether you're in or not.

Interesting - I have the withdraw tick box thing for VMLMLMLM but not for Ride London - for that there's a note to contact the organisers if I want to withdraw.

For now I'll assume that I'm not in, though.

The "withdraw" thing has been there for several weeks (and possibly longer) - I think it must relate to the entry to the ballot rather than to the VLM itself.

@Jangles - The should be no reason for the browser to give you different results based on which device you're using, are you looking at the correct year on your laptop?

As McGoohan has pointed out, if you look at the 2018 entry and was not successful then, you will see a red box with the "This entry has not been successful in the ballot".

As mentioned on Sub 3hr thread, I got in on GFA for next year, but didn’t accept and pay in time......turns out I put .com instead of .co.uk on my email! 😡
Fingers crossed for ballot now, but not sure if my heart is in London after this years blow up!

Shortlist for alternatives next year is MK, Abingdon or Yorkshire?

MK is a great option...Manchester, or Brighton too...I'm thinking I might go into Europe for a Spring marathon when I get by official 'Sorry' email.
