You'll probably find that the TV coverage is taken up by enough D-rated celebrities (who run it year after year) while Joe Bloggs never gets a look in without applying for entry via the Golden Bond method. With the Brighton Marathon getting Channel 4 highlights this year, many runners may start to realise that London is not the only marathon this country puts on.
