Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

What's making you smile today?

It shouldn’t really make me smile but Brodie (3 yr old) was disappointed that when he said thank you to a man for moving out his way the man didn’t say “you’re welcome” . Brodie says it all the time if you thank him for anything.

The cherry blossom on my drive home.
There is one bit where you're just in a world of pink! It's like being in Japan.

Took Oscar (Spaniel) for his evening walk from our remote Cumbrian holiday cottage and there was still enough light to not need my headtorch at 9pm

Went for a walk in the hills with the kids and we foraged figs and sweet chestnuts for feed and pine cones for the fire 😁

The unsung heroes are the people who held the remote controls and had to run with the robots!

Had to brake for a red squirrel then glanced in my rear wing mirror and seen it hop onto a wall, relieved.

I’d have been gutted to kill it.

Annoying that they aren’t required to have tail lights.

Wouldn't happen here. There are lots of signs telling the red squirrels to drive carefully.
