The fact that I managed to strim a section of rather soggy wild flower meadow and plant some bulbs. I have 6 more bags to go. Planted 4 bags. Here is hoping I get them in before leaving for Xmas on the 19th. These bulbs replace the ones that never got planted last year, because I got ill. Considering how ill have been, this is hugely uplifting! |

A Rae in a manger
New neighbours (it's a very newly built street, on my post round, I think the couple in question were moving in today) coming together to try and recapture a young couple's 4 escaped parakeets. 2 were safely back in their cage by the time is finished with that area and had to move on. |

I'm sure they will have, the birds seemed keen to stick together, so once two were in they will have acted as a good lure for the others.
