My local Oxfam bookshop has a copy of my old (1993) book on pub walks in Leicestershire and Rutland. I jokingly said to my friend who works there that I should sign it to make it more valuable, when he told me that I already had. It was signed to an old quiz team friend of mine whose wake I had attended three weeks ago, his family had cleared his flat and donated the books to Oxfam.
