Fragile Do Not Bend
Trying to get into Cambridge. The 1000+ spaces park and ride was full so we had to try and find somewhere in the street to park. Then the bus journey into the centre was more expensive than the park and ride fare despite it being the same bus. š”

On a similar theme to Vārap - my colleague moaning that he didnāt get into VMLM āagainā....when the fecker hasnāt laced up a pair of daps in nearly 5 years!
I can see he may want to do it for the experience, but banging on like he deserves a place more than people who do actually run regularly really pisses me off.

Apologies for 'inconvenience caused'.
At least trains now apologise that our journey will be taking longer than expected.
OTOH Royal Mail delivered a timed/recorded/tracked/guaranteed/whatever letter days late to my daughter - another half-hour and it would have cost her weeks of stress, two days of her life and Ā£1000. That's a bit more than 'inconvenience'.

Donāt know why it irritates me but it really does.

Oh and an oldie for me. The London Marathon is the London Marathon to me. Not the Virgin Money LM, nor the Flora LM, Mars LM and so on.

Can't logically be in Mars and London, can it?
Reminds me of a day when my senior colleague told me the 'man from Mars' was visiting. I thought he was being justifiably rude about an IBM rep I was expecting, but he actually meant someone from the company Mars.

Velociraptor
Realising that brightly coloured artificial finger-talons for women started to become commonplace around the same time as fingertip pulse oximeters became essential medical examination tools.

Yes, all train guards now seem to imitate plane crew now for some reason. Why is this?
