Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

[LOL Chris, my son is fine, but his younger sister, if she was in charge of the timetable, wouldn't be ready until lunchtime (and would probably decide to go back to bed if she even got up in the first place).]

People who can't get their own email address correct. We've had two wedding quotes in 24 hours, to a couple amusingly also called Wine Legs and Binks (OK, so their real names, but in order to protect our secret identities, I am not writing them here). The bride-to-be herself has now started forwarding stuff to us. At least I can reply to her and tell her to check her email address!! Silly wallies. Also £15k for a wedding for 140 guests. Blimey...

That it's soon going to be "Deck yourself in poppies from head to toe else you're a member of ISIS" time of the year again.

Fragile Do Not Bend
[I’ve had someone set up an eBay account using my email address and place a few bids, and every so often I get an email from a chain of opticians in America which is meant for one of their customers. I’ve not managed to find a way of letting the opticians know the email address is wrong]

People getting a VMLM acceptance notification and being anything other than delighted about it. You applied for the fucking ballot, if you don't want the place just quietly don't take it up.

The whole VMLM kerfuffle and the fact that the selection process/committee seems to have a higher security blanket than GCHQ

Is it to give the whole thing an air of mystery and wonderment?
