Dropped my phone in the toilet bowl. Fell out of the waistband, back pocket on a pair of Salomon running shorts. Fortunately realised what the clonk and splash was and managed not to pee before I’d retrieved it. At least I discovered this feature of the shorts’ back pocket phone retaining ability while hovering over the loo at home rather than at an event / while using a portapoti.

My destructive backspace key has developed a crunchy stickiness. I never realised how much I use it up until now.

They'd never have known, Chris.

I missed the start of 'Fred Dibnah's Made in Britain' on BBC4, and it doesn't allow blue button restarting.

I've almost certainly seen it before, but not for a while.

I was just about to go out for my lunchtime walk when I realised it is raining. I don't have a jacket with me.

Stevie the dog was extraordinarily keen to jump over the stile on our morning walk. I discovered why when I clambered over to find him gobbling someone’s sicked-up supper 🤢

Having biked 27km to a flower show I realised a) it's very difficult to take home many plants when you only have one small pannier and ii) my dodgy left shoulder which has been giving me grief for the last month is not as well recovered as I thought.

a) is partly solved by convincing Sam we ought to come back by car at the weekend, but ii) is harder to get around. Luckily it's only really painful when I move my shoulder beyond biking position, which I don't need to do whilst biking, so I think just get home and assume the prone position with a nice hot water bottle for the rest of the afternoon.
Ho hum.
